I’ve always thought that it would have been great, having the chance to join the pleasure given from a good meal with the pleasure from an interesting trip, in different words eating the food where it is produced. I know sometimes packing your case and leave, chasing a meal, it’s not the easiest thing to do, so you need to find the way to travel within your country or at least within the city where you live. Here there is my idea: how nice it would be having the chance to choose your journey by …

Hello Food & Wine lovers, we are happy to announce a new meetup group for all the people who like cooking, tasting new dishes, experimenting in the kitchen with some good wine. We are thinking about activities where we cook for each other as themed house dinner parties, or maybe attend cooking workshops, food markets or wine tasting events around Dublin. Well there is no limit to the activities we can do together.

I love cooking and eating at home. So I thought it would be a good idea to meet with like-minded people. The idea is we take turns at hosting a meal in our own homes and each person brings along a dish to share. It's definitely not a competition so I'm not looking for the world's best cooks. Just a meal where we can sit, chat and enjoy some food. Maybe about 6-8 each time. Jeanne
Like Beer? This is the Meetup for you. There has been an increase in Micro and nano breweries beers in Ireland There are also a number of new pubs serving craft beer in Dublin I thought it would be nice to organise a group to arrange meetups and regularly sample different beers I would hope to learn a thing or two about beer tasting, food matching and maybe even the brewing process The emphasis will be on Craft or micro brewed beers This is not a badly disguised excuse for getting drunk.. I don' …

Dining Out is a social club for gay men, which was formed in April 2002. The club meets for dinners in Dublin city Centre restaurants, with 15 to 30 people attending each meal. We also organise weekends away. Dinners are usually held on the 2nd Friday and on the last Saturday of the month. The meal price varies from restaurant to restaurant, but we try to get set menus where possible and we try to keep the total bill between €20 and €60 per person. Dining Out also welcomes Guests and Visitors wh …

We will meet once a month at a different Chinese restaurant in Dublin and pick our dishes tombola style - i.e. choose numbers and eat what we get! Alternatively to tombola: Raffle King or a random number generator. This should be fun and hopefully we'll eat dishes that we wouldn't normally
